Even a light charged shot applies a full electric dot. So you can slow and dot an entire through of bugs for only 10 ammo. That way you have the option to shoot chunkier bugs with full charge or apply debuff with a quick shot. Hellfire is insanely strong. Essentially a primary with how many bugs it can light up.
