I tried Mesh Mixer but it distorts odd parts of my STL File when it imports, which makes it unusable. I'm wondering if there is a way to generate supports in a different slicer (or software), save the STL with the supports and then import it into Super Slicer. Is there a good way to go about this?

By default in my experience, PrusaSlicer has the supports set to 0.1 for soluble support materials. I always change it to 0.2 which in the slicer specifically calls it detachable. I had the same issue, and ever since I've made this change everything has been great.Usually slicers will round to an even number of layers, so if you have 0.2mm layers and set it to 0.1mm to 0.3mm of Z offset, it could be the same 1 layer skipped only.
